Al-Barrak automatic doors was established in 1993 by Eng. Saleh A. Al-Barrak, and has since then, operated as a privately owned company. At its inception, the company specialized in the manufacturing of domestic roll-up doors, industrial roll-up doors, tilt doors, classical doors and components for doors. The company proceeded to manufacture products under its own brand name. After two years of remarkable growth, in 1995, the company entered into an agreement with CAME and Taylor Doors-USA (for sectional overhead doors) and became the authorized doors operators for these firms in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, supplying products of superior quality to the people of the Kingdom. Then in 1997, still going strong as a company committed to delivering world class products, Al-Barrak ventured on to manufacture corrugated sheets and this product range grew very rapidly and was recently extended again to include slat rolling shutters, grille rolling shutters (galvanized and aluminum), fire rated shutters and window shutters, in its already very vast line of products. At the automatic doors factory, the hollow metal doors & frames are manufactured, in addition to superior quality isolated fire proof doors enhanced by workmanship to meet requirements for different market sectors catering to healthcare, industries, hospitality and others in Saudi Arabia, Arabian Gulf and the entire Middle East. By 1998 AL-Barrak became hugely successful in supplying all kind of automatic doors and components to a large number of companies throughout the GCC & Middle East countries, and had established itself as a brand that delivers unprecedented levels of quality in its manufactured products.
The first Barrak Glass factory was built in Al-Ahsa in 2005. The factory was followed by other four plants in Riyadh, Qassim, Khamis Mushait and Jeddah to exceed the productivity of the factories exceed 1,000,000 m2 per year of tempered glass, Al barrak is planning underway for the establishment of other factories in the near future. Al Barrak industrial group built Barrak plastic clothes factory in 2008 at Al Ahsa. In today’s time, the factory is one of the leading providers of high quality fabric shades for car parking, public areas, schools and swimming pools, knitted berm shades, picnic tents, construction and agriculture protection shades. Barrak industrial gases started its production in 2010 as the first of its kind in the region of Al Ahsa serving industries and healthcare to supply them with oxygen, nitrogen, acetylene, carbon dioxide and argon imposing high manufacturing and safety standards over all these years. In 2013, Al-Barrak Safety become part of Al Barrak Industrial Group, it gives more empowerment in terms of logistics and expansion of business. Al-Barrak Safety specialized in the supply, installation, design, testing, commissioning and maintenance of fire fighting. Barrak solar energy systems established in 2015, to make solar energy available to homeowner and mass business projects. Solar Energy is an economical, environment friendly, alternative solution to providing power. To meet the construction boom and the increasing demands in Saudi Arabia. Barrak elevators has entered into a co-operation agreement with international elevator companies to manufacture, supply and install elevators products to the Saudi Arabian market, a very large number of companies have relied on and continue to rely on Al-Barrak manufactured products to complement their own businesses. As of today the company, headquartered in Al-Hassa, employs 1000 personnel who work at over 50 branches across the Kingdom. Al-Barrak continues to expand its set of business lines which span domains as diverse as manufacturing, consulting, energy and travel. Over all these years, if there is one thing that has remained constant for the company, it is its passion for excellence. In 2017, Al Barrak Group has obtained an ISO certificate for the purpose to ensure the quality of internationally agreed requirements.
